Boyo Turns One. Family is shocked!

Where did the year go? Who said the boy could start the path to growing up?
No eat. Play!

My boy isn't a wee baby anymore. He's still little and sort of snuggly at times, but no more wee baby content in Momma's arms. He's fun to watch though! I am liking watching him grow and change. He's quite a little man.
He likes!

Girly is growing and changing fast. Too fast for Momma's comfort. Off to have her own interests. Good thing she's still young enough to want Momma to be part of her interests and especially to "watch me".

She's beginning her path away from us and as much as I miss having her as my baby girly, it's pretty cool seeing how she thinks and what she comes up with next.

What new tricks she learns and how proud she is of learning them.

Momma has a knitting funk going on so no photos of progress or projects to be found. Not much brain matter left at the end of the day.

I'll leave you with a quote that's been on my mind a lot lately. Too many people thinking they can make everyone live the way they want them too without thought of how the other person thinks or wants. I've changed it a bit though.

"To ban something, anything because irresponsible or criminal people misuse it is to tell the responsible, innocent and law-abiding that their privileges, rights and liberties depend not on their own conduct, but on the conduct of the thoughtless and the lawless, and that the law will permit them to have only such rights and liberties as the irresponsible and criminal will allow... For society does not control misconduct or crime, ever, by forcing the responsible and law-abiding to accommodate themselves to the expected bad or criminal behaviours. Society controls misconduct and crime by forcing the irresponsible and criminal people to accommodate themselves to the expected behavior of the responsible and law-abiding."
